Project Title: Corporate Wellness Microlearning: Stress Reduction

Problem: Employees experience high stress but lack time for wellness programs.

Challenge: Design a quick, effective learning solution that can fit into a busy workday.

Process: Used in the ADDIE framework to analyze learner needs, design a microlearning solution, develop target materials, implement flexible delivery, and evaluate effectiveness.

Solution: A five-minute training that teaches simple, actionable stress reduction techniques employees can implement immediately.

ADDIE Model
The AnalysisIn the analysis phase, we identified busy professionals as the target audience. The key issue was clear. They experienced high stress paired with very limited time. This mean the solution needed to be fast, simple, and immediately implemented in a real work situation.
The DesignDuring the design phase, I focused on creating a microlearning experience that could be completed in under five minutes. The objective was for learners to apply one or two simple stress reduction techniques immediately. The strategy included demonstration and guided practice to support quick adaptation.
The DevelopmentIn the development phase, I created a short video demonstration, a guided breathing exercise, and a downloadable reference card employees could keep at their desk. These materials were designed to be simple, visual, and easy to use in real time.
The ImplementationThe training can be implemented through a company’s learning management system or shared directly via email. Employees can access it during short breaks or between tasks, making it highly flexible and easy to integrate into the workday.
The EvaluationTo evaluate the effectiveness, I included a learner feedback survey and self-reported stress levels after using the techniques. Usage data can also help determine engagement, and this feedback supports ongoing improvement to the training.
The SolutionThe final solution is a fast, practical wellness training that supports employees in managing stress in real time. It’s simple, scalable, and designed to fit seamlessly into today’s work place.
